Flash of thought streaks across my mind creating different shades of why. Thunder of doubt follows behind echoing back with no reply. Torrential storm begins unseen causing sound hard reason to rift. Cold waters carve a deep ravine where the seeds of hope start to drift. Laughter throws a falsetto ring into the rushing stream of fear. To its blue melody I cling until black psyche starts to clear.
Reason for writing:
This poem illustrates the emotional turmoil that occurs inside our heads that noone ever sees. The part about laughter is saying that sometimes laughter is all that keeps us sane and also that the world expects us to show a constant cheerfulness whether we feel like it or not.Birth sign: Not entered
