Denial

by Eugene, Taurus 4/21/51 - Not entered

If Hitler and Disney realized their pain,
To target the denial of survival,
In such dreams of grandeur, God like.
Made mythic in dynamic stress, laughter,
Drama, a ritual of regret and shame.
So denial grants forgivness,
By framing emotions in time, and
Our eyes are justified,
With tunnel vision, love and prayer.
How else but psychotic,
Could we go on?

Reason for writing:

An effort to compare two powerful shapers of contemporary
western man, however extreme.
