While You Are Far

by Marge Vallazza - Not entered

We may at this moment be apart
and you may from me be far
  but you are
  resident in my heart.

From my memory, I take you out,
  examine you
  and think about our love.

(To Mario in Brazil,
  Sept. 3, 1996, while
I was watching How To Make An American Quilt w/Renny)

Reason for writing:

My daughter and I were watching How To Make An American Quilt
and talking about how much we missed her dad, who is on a
business trip. The beautiful music on the film's soundtrack
touched my already tender emotions and my muse surfaced!
