Attacked By My Computer

by Michael Dowdin - Not entered

One day, I came to work and turned my computer on.
Keys clicking, lights blinking; it put out a loud moan.
I knew; I was in big trouble from the very beginning.
She was smoking, this game; I would not be winning.
I threw a bucket of cold water on her to lower her fever.
She said, "I have a virus." I did not want to believe her.
All of a sudden; bright red sparks and juice began to fly.
She singed my long black hair and would not let met by.
We kicked, bit, scratched, and fought for almost an hour.
I finally gave up, because she had all the mighty power.
There will be no more high tech computers for me.
I would rather be attacked by a little killer bee.

Reason for writing:

This is another poem from my book, 'When It's Ok to Be Crazy!'
My book is for the young and old. My poems are very funny and
comical; to add a little bit of sunshine into someone's life.
Some are true and some pure fantasy.
