While You are gone, I hope it won't be long, Until then, I'll lose myself within this song, And when for ever has come and gone, I'll still be right here, holding on. The longing goes on, well into the night, Wishing you were here, just holding me tight, I'll close my eyes dreaming, while we are apart, Perhaps by morning, I'll awaken to you sweetheart. The longing goes on, though it's now morning, Believing this feeling won't leave without warning, I'll close my eyes day-dreaming, though we're apart, Perhaps I'll find comfort within your sweet heart, The longing is still here, throughout the day, Trying so hard to find still yet another way, I'll close my eyes still hoping though we are apart, You still think of me fondly within your sweet heart.
