I Only Know

by Lawrence J. Henriques, the Snowman - Not entered

My Love, is not pretentious,
Nor is she fancy free,
I only know her favors,
She freely gives to me.

She carries inner beauty,
Bourne upon graceful wiles,
I only know her labors,
Are endured with sweet smiles.

Her voice is soft and peaceful,
Much like a tranquil sea,
I only know her kindness,
Is always shown to me.

Her heart is true and caring,
Such pure consistency,
I only know I'm happy,
And hope she'll always be.

Reason for writing:

The spring from which all my inspiration emanates, is located in Sidney, British Columbia, though her radiance exceeds the label of a name, she is known here, as Jean Louise
