Shades of Gray

by Lawrence J. Henriques, the Snowman - Not entered

I do not see in shades of gray
  Only in black and white,
for is there not but night and day,
  No darkness in the light,

Did he not give thee eyes to see
And a tongue to speak the truth
Before thee turn to disagree,
  show not your naive youth.

Who dressed thee in thy gray attire
and quenched thy immortal soul's desire?

1982

Reason for writing:

Doloso Erue Mea, for those who understand. I subscribe to the
philosphy of scholasticism, therefore, I do not accept such
ideals as evolutionary truths, but rather choose to believe
in Absolute truths...
