memories---my son

by jane coley - Not entered

do you remember---my son---way back when
you were such a fine boy, with a sweet little grin
i loved your hugs and your kisses, you were always on the run,
i was a very proud mom--to have you as my son.

sometimes as we think of years gone by,
sweet memories of childhood---and how fastb time does fly.
your smile, your courage, has never let me down.
your faith, your family and friends---are where God's love
is found.

as sweet memories still linger, and my little boy became
a man,
with heartaches and happiness, and the world in his hand,
the years now seem to pass faster---and i'm always on the
run,
but nothing makes me more happier---than having you as
my son.

Reason for writing:

written for a friend who had a son in the hospital for
surgery
