To my Father's Father (a sorely missed soul)

by c. william lucas - Not entered

Come back father grand. I do miss you so much.
For young age was blind and I could never touch
The black that lay beneath the skin/ but these eyes
(They do miss you so much)

And no light was shed. You remained silent still,
While suffocated cells wept. I never believed until
yesterday that one could be so brave/ but these eyes
They do miss you so much.

Awoken from dreams/ this boy found tears in sweet,
empty, and silent rooms. Hiding from death beneath the sheet,
Where you, father grand, forgot to hide/ but these eyes
They do miss you so much.

Your sorely missed soul erupts here where the thoughts of
Silence/ the corrupted body/ soaked in familial love.
I was such young innocent water/ but these eyes
(They do miss you so much.)

Reason for writing:

for the simple raeson of writing.
