O God, grant me the insight to see my faults, And to loathe them as I should, Help me to be diligent in my undertakings, Whether they be large or small, For all are a reflection of my character. May I gratiously accept criticism, As a helpful means to better myself, May I see all that I possess Was given to better enable myself, To Know, Love and Serve Thee, To Whom I owe all. Help me, I beseech Thee, to not be proud, And to respect authority, For you have appointed my superiors, In order to help me. May I trust in You for all things, and never loose faith in You. Help me to be charitable, To forgive the faults of others, As I would want You to forgive mine. To be consistent in all things, And most of all, I pray, That You would deem me worthy, Of Thy Grace, now, and forever. Amen
