Everlasting Sleep

by Peace and Love Man - Not entered

The bright moon, slowy shines
Its light into my eyes
Somewhere someone is smiling
Somewhere someone does cry

But I sleep through this whole mess
I have grown used to it
I sleep and dream away
Ignoring this world wide pit

Sleeping soundly, oh so soundly
Quietly, on my bed
My mind is slowly stopping
For it seems I am dead

Maybe though, it’s better here
So far it seems okay
Yes, there is no fighting here
I think I will stay

Everyone is peaceful
Yet everyone is dead
Yet I am sleeping, still sleeping
Quietly on my bed
