Little Girl On The Corner

by Marianne - Not entered

Little girl on the corner
what've you done with all your toys?
Seems you've traded them for make-up
You're now enticing older boys.

Little girl on the corner
with your skirt pulled way up high
stopping one car, then another
just trying to get by.

Little girl on the corner
just thirteen - a baby still
For an hour with such a sweet, young thing
alot of men would kill.

Little girl on the corner
you should be at home...in bed
tucked under covers, with a teddy bear
but you're out selling your body instead.

Little girl on the corner
tell me what you'll do
when a pimp walks up, and offers
to always take care of you?

Little girl on the corner
put some clothes on, and get inside
Before the bad men come to get you
find a safe place to hide.
