Here Again

by Elliot Casey - Not entered

Left with only one thought to think,
Left with only my heart to sink,
Why did I ever bother?
I was without a single care,
A flick of your hand, a brush of your hair,
Never did I meet your father.

Never a girl to call my own,
Never someone to talk on the phone,
Until I was with you!
Then I had the thing I needed,
Never were those words I said heeded,
Until it was too late for you.

So now I am left without a word,
Without "I love you"'s I should have heard,
Here without your love.
Those three words I may never hear,
While with you I felt we were near,
And now your never to be seen of.

Reason for writing:

    For Holly Pinkus,
     I think of you always!
