Loving Mother...With Grace

by Marianne - Not entered

Loving Mother says...
let me help you - as she takes my hand to walk
let me help you - as she teaches me to talk.
As she guides me on my way - she has this to say...
let me watch you dance with grace
let me bask in your beautiful face.

Loving Mother says...
Out into life you must go
let me watch you blossom and grow.
As she guides me on my way - she has this to say...
let me see you graduate, succeed in the world
and set your fate.

Loving Mother says...
You are married, and have children now
and of both, I'm very proud.
As she guides me on my way - she has this to say...
Try to be a good mother, and wife
for the rewards will come later in life.

Loving Mother says...
Hold my hand child, as I close my eyes
Talk to me, as I'm about to die.
As I guide her on her way - I have this to say...
Loving Mother...as you seek your resting place
let me watch you dance with grace.
