By the Seaside

by Lawrence J. Henriques, the Snowman - Not entered

Thinking of you, my love,
 by the seaside.
 Wishing so much dear,
I were by your side,
 Watching the warm waves
 from across the sea,
 Hoping soon they may
bring you here to me.

Together we will
 walk along the beach,
 Though at this moment,
 you're out of reach,
 But I will still keep
wishing this today,
That a love such as ours
 will find a way.

Awaiting your smile,
Picturing your eyes,
Your lovely reflection
Framed by blue skies,
 And so I will stare
out across the sea,
 And hope the waves will,
 bring you here to me.

Reason for writing:

Simply the thought of Jean Louise, the most wonderous soul
I have ever met while experiencing this life's journey...*sigh*
