split soul

Split Soul
A civil war inside my soul
And I wonder what I'm fighting for,
What'll happen if the wrong person wins?
Like a two way mirror,
I've got two sides,
One or another always hides.
Seems like I never can fit,
Never can get my two sides to knit,
Wake up wondering,
Who am I today?

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem because for a long time I've felt like I'm different things
to different people. This feeling left me very confused. Now I believe there
are probably other people as confused as me. I'd like to get this poem published
but I figured first I should get in the splotlight;on the net. So if anyone
reading this has a comment please e-mail me. I'm very interested in what other
people think.
