To these who have dreams of love and death and all

by Heather Marie, Cap. - Not entered

Through the mist,
     the cloud that surrounds you
          a vision appears.
A girl, plain and kind is there.

You see her in your dreams
     dancing,
and caring for the wounds the tigers have given you

She has healed your pain
     when you saw none.

She stands before you now
     in your hour of need.

She calls out your name and motions to you
     come to her

This is the one time she needs you.

When the world wrongs you
     and you say
          you don't need her.

The sorrow she feels is devestating.

And finally when she comes to you
     take her in your arms
and kiss her for the first and last time.

She is being called away
     to live without you.

A need arises to go somewhere
     and let the memories die.

She knows you'll be safe
     and she leaves in peace
knowing she has done everything she can for you

Athough she tries
     those memories won't die
and neither will her love for you.

Reason for writing:

Love gives even when the reciever can not recieve.
