I have knelt before the altar and offered up my soul in the darkest of life’s moments when my heart was hard and low I have stood knee deep in water as life’s rivers overflowed and raged with passion’s fire consumed beyond control I have sat within the desert glare beneath the drying sun and felt my passions ebbing before their time was done I have been alone and safely within my womb for one and laughed aloud at the silence there where none but I have come I have tasted salty tears upon cheeks that once were dry and I have felt the sting of fallen love that no apology can buy I have known the soothing touch of love so sweet to softly sigh and cradled it unto my breast and closed my weary eyes I have been afraid and lonely and buried in a crowd I have danced upon a moonbeam and drifted in the clouds I have heard my name called lightly and at the throne have bowed I have prayed in silent places while whispering aloud
Reason for writing:
...this one came to me, nearly whole, early one morning...it seems to say so much about life's journey...and all the places I have been while traveling...Birth sign: Not entered
