When Today is Far Past

by A. Morgan (sagitarius) - Not entered

When today is a day far in the past,
 Fading slowly into the mists of time;
Even then, my love for you will still last.

My love will never be a thing of the past,
 For it shall outlast this my living rhyme--
When today is a day far in the past.

When I can barely remember the past
 With that old memory that will be mine;
Even then, my love for you will still last.

Nothing shall my eternal love outlast;
 For it shall always and forever shine
When today is a day far in the past.

When I draw a breath, and it is my last,
 And I give up this frail body of mine--
Even then, my love for you will still last.

So, then, I sahll love you to the very last,
 To the ultimate end of all time:
For when today is a day of the past;
Even then, my love for you will still last.
