In the shadow of night I have lived so long,
Living in despair and lonliness
With your shining soul upon me,
You bring to me love and hope
Your passion and tenderness touching me,
I melt in your arms
Within your eyes I am captured,
Holding me fast to your every word
Your smooth gentle lips upon mine,
Brings upon me a burning desire
Your beautiful sweet voice,
Sings music to my ears
Being within your embracing arms,
Your every wish is my command
With you in my life I've come into the light,
In you I've found the love that I lost........
Reason for writing:
I have met a woman named Jennifer, who has touched me in a way that is not easily put into words, but I have tried in this poem to convey how much I care for her, and how much she means to me.
