Upon the Dell

by Lawrence J. Henriques, the Snowman - Not entered

We met upon the dell,
And kissed beneath the tree,
As water droplets fell,
In gentle harmony.

But as the sun must rise,
It soon must also set,
The look within your eyes,
Foretold this moment yet,

Let's make our home the dell,
And build beneath the tree,
A house where we may dwell,
In blissful harmony.

Reason for writing:

Life can be simply wonderful, grand and sweet, it all depends upon
taking the opportunity to be kind to oneself, and chose to be
happy... Just as I have found that happiness knowing the loving,
Jean Louise of Sidney, British Columbia...
