If I could unzip my skull, and peer into my brain. Would I see intriguing sights, or would I just feel pain? Perhaps I would see cupboards. Full of all my thoughts. Or would I find that snag, on which my tongue gets caught? Or would my head be hollow, with two windows for my eyes? Perhaps I would see the demon, that conjures up my lies. I suppose I could spring clean. Before putting back the roof. Enabling me to tighten those screws, that over the years had all come loose. But I think it best to leave alone, the vessel that holds my brain. For if I pull everything apart, I may not get it back together again!!
