I reach into the shadows of darkness That surround me in eternal silence, Hoping for a touch, Listening for a word, Longing for you. You came into my life, Like a ray of sunshine, Searing through my darkness, You give me hope, A reason to face tomorrow. You stole in through the shadows, Not only to touch or speak a kind word, But to say "I love you", And to comfort me in my fears. You have taken me, Into your warm embrace, To Shield me from the cold, To Take me from the loneliness, And forever I shall stay.
Reason for writing:
I never thought my world would be turned upside down by one person. I also never thought I'd grow to love and care about someone so much.
I'm finding myself falling into an unknown world..one I am searching with all intenstiy. Brent has made my life complete. I hope never to loose him.
I care for him more than anything else...and I pray that he feels the same.
