The Hunters

by Elijah - Not entered

I stalk you with my eyes.
I hunt you with my heart.
I ensnare you in my web of hate.
So my hands can tear you apart.

I have no other demon.
Than the one who walks with me.
The two of us are one of a kind.
As you are about to see.

Your face reveals your terror.
Your heart beating to take flight.
We want none of your worldly goods.
We have come to steal your life.

Your blood will cool our anger.
We teach pain never known.
You'll give to us most infinite joy.
As your soul drains from your bones.

When your human shell is empty.
Just a crumpled mess upon the floor.
We will go and walk the streets.
Where there is always plenty more.

Reason for writing:

How can any hunter deny his prey the right to die!
