with you, in my arms

by Thomas Lee Rhymes (Cancer) - Not entered

As each dawn begins
I wonder
How it would begin
with you, in my arms

As each day moves
forward
the thought of you
of us, lingers in my mind

As each night approaches
I tremble
with images of
lovers - delicately held

And, once more,
as another dawn
begins, I wonder,
and rise

to face the day

without you

C 1996 Thomas Lee Rhymes - written - 10/13/96

Reason for writing:

Lovers come and go. Yet, some leave behind the desire for relationships beyond the physical. There HAS to be something more between two individuals, in order for the relationship to continue. The desire to find your lover, the next day, "in (your) arms" - maybe stronger than what happened the night before.
