Yesterday

by Robert Mims - Not entered

Ye desperate slaves of passion,
sent to fight the war
chained up inside my heart
to kill forever more
I ask you naow to leave me be
and ride away from what you see
the tribe willl win a viscous war and
dedicate themselves some more

Don't ask me now, not to stay
a slave of yet another day
I hope the love I fear is dead
the love inside my weary head
I ask you not to come and kill
to live alone by your own will
who of you will be enslaved
to live my life as each road's paved
I tell you now to leave me be
just hope another day we'll see

My mind is now so unsure
I wonder what must I endure
I hope the tear I cry to day
Will save myself from yesterday...

Reason for writing:

I read so much about cults like the branch dividians and militias like ruby ridge and I felt inspired to write about it.
