Shakespearean Sonnet V

by Cory Bogner {Pisces} - Not entered

I have been up in the clouds
And all the way I have toppled down.
I've swung with the hip crowds
And I've slept in every gutter in town.

Pure beautiful virgins I have claimed,
I've also been rejected by whores.
I'm not proud and I'm not ashamed
Of what I've done behind closed doors.

I haven't been to every place on earth,
But I've been to enough to say
That I've gotten my money's worth.
I like where I've been and where I am today.

It is time for me to go, I now know this;
Nunc lento sonitu dicunt, Morieris
