The Frost

by Dan - Cancer - Not entered

The moon comes up
And all around
Frost lays it's bounty
'Cross the ground

Though the night is cold and bleak
The chill is soon to pass
The frost neglects throughout
The roots of Leaves of Grass

Reason for writing:

A simple poem that has an allusion to Whitman's Leaves of Grass
The virtues of man survive throughout the hard times of our lives,
Which don't last forever.
