They II

by Danielle E. Kirchner {Cancer} - Not entered

They are the people that everyone thinks is
     "the nicest person."
They are the people involved in the community.
They are the people that everyone knows, but
     no one suspects.
They are the people that hurt children.
They are the people that don't know the meaning of "no"
     coming from a child's mouth.
They are the people that go to church every Sunday.
They are the people that cut their lawn every other Saturday.
They are the people that have children.
They are the people that don't have children.
They are in every community.
I should know.
I was one of the children they didn't listen to.
And no one believed me.

Reason for writing:

My teacher wanted to know who "They" were. What were "They"
like. I wrote this poem to show her that "They" are the
people every where.
