IRS Agent Robert Dale was asked to speak at the Outhouse Tax Convention. He was here to tell the other agents how to increase their tax collection. Agent Dale was very proud of this day wearing his best two dollar suit. With thirty two years with the IRS, he was considered the best recruit. Agent Dale would be introduced by an IRS newcomer named Tax Lorenzo. He relocated to Beckley all the way from beautiful San Diego. The tax convention was to start at precisely seven o'clock. Tax walked to the stage wearing a long black vampire's frock. "Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you; my friend, Agent Robert Dale." "His hundreds of clients always tell him, "I didn't know my outhouse was for sale." "Thank you, Tax; that's right, I'll take all of your money." "Some tax dodgers have the nerve to substitute milk and honey." "Everyone should be focused on collecting on every delinquent tax case." "That is why you should always update your files and database." "Your goal is to act fast in order to get results and deliver." "Let the people know that you are the boss and the law giver." "Never let yourself be blinded with sympathy and deciet." "Often times, they will try to show you phony papers or a fake receit." "Others will try to do some magic pulling papers from their sleeve." "When you catch them in their act, say to them, "you, I can't believe." "We in the IRS office is here to make a huge profit." "If we do not, then we will be hung from our boss's soffit." "It is always best to get plenty of rest and have a good breakfast." "Doing so will enable you to become a better person and an enthusiast." "I find that it helps to keep your daily conquests on a calendar." "Keeping your eye on your next pay raise and that brand new car." "Later, you will be able to afford more than beans and mustard." "And buy your girlfriend or wife a new house on a quiet boulevard." "I am saying that these collection tactics will not make you rich." "But you can move up a little from the Westside to across town to Greenwich." "Thank you." Copyright 1996 (C) Marva L. Dowdin
Reason for writing:
IRS Agent Robert Dale never fails to show others how the IRS really works. He is a go-getter, determined, hard nosed, and a take-all person. He is bent on retiring with good case-load figures. No matter how he does it. This is a short story from my latest book that I am working on. It is a book of humor and fun. Marva L. DowdinBirth sign: Not entered
