Seized the snake's tail, He reared, swarming his slit, Cobra hood swelling fields, Maddened movie monster swiping trees, Raging boa wrapping the valley's spine, Forcing houses, sheep, people Down-gullet, Spreading bloated beast's carcass, Headwaters dove downstream, Venomous bite piercing towns crowding his lair Leaving soggy digested bodies, Muddied dripping belly juice, Spiteful Shenandoah snake saliva.
