NOTHAL & SOTHAL (Part 4)

by Elijah - Not entered

As Jake walked through the streets.
he was lulled by the sounds.
Of the oceans beating on the beach,
the warmth of the sun beating down.

it reminded him of his home.
On the grasslands of Crinkle Plains.
He forgot why he travelled,
wished only to remain.

The townsfolk were good and kind,
there was much to him they could teach.
But the chattering gulls called out to him,
whenever he strolled the beach.

"Hurry along to Pricklethorn Jake,
you must hurry along you know".
"For if you don't, we will all belong,
to the terrible tyrant Bolgoe".

So it was that five days passed,
before Jake move alonged.
Onto the task at hand,
where it was Jake belonged.

Within the time he had stayed,
Jake made numerous friends.
Before he left the promise was set,
if he could, he would return again.

"You must now head inland" cried the gulls.
"To a mountain circled by native trees".
"Take yourself to the very top,
from there you will be able to see".

Jake set out on the inland route.
Towards the western shore.
To the Port of Pricklethorn.
To see what fate had in store.

He saw all kinds of creatures.
Experienced new sights and sounds.
Captured by the tranquil beauty,
that lay about him all around.

He must shut out from his mind,
that which may only impede.
For time he wasted far to much,
he must now pick up the speed.

The mountain ringed by native bush,
must still be found by Jake.
His efforts must reflect his concern.
There was no room for mistakes!

Back in the halls of power.
Where evil and deciet both play.
Bolgoes workers were deep in thought.
Deciding the best of ways.

They sqaubbled and fought and argued,
as to how they would be able.
To hold fast to NOTHALS shores,
the land of SOTHAL by a cable.

They all knew the story of SOTHALS move.
Brought about by the winds that blow.
How SOTHAL could drift at any time.
They could not afford to be slow.

In the early hours of a Wednesday morn.
The trio found the ultimate plan.
They talked it through again & again.
Making sure all did truly understand.

Loosewood Smythe would build the tower.
Simeon Corruption would measure the length.
Juggernaut Snickley would purchase the cable.
One of high quality and great strength.

To help accomplish this awesome chore,
in order to put the finishing touches.
They called on the dwarf Johann Blanks,
from which little escaped his clutches....
