Sara

by Steven Lazenby --- Leo - Not entered

My love unspken I stand before you.
We are friends, I long for more.
Your beauty blinds me,
touch warms me...
I say nothing.
I long to hug you,
kiss your lips.
Declare my love.
Devote my life...

You speak,
I smile,
My mind goes blank,
Thoughts eaten by terror,
Exclame their final parting.
Some, seeking refuge,
Escape my lips, only to be frozen,
Unintelligeably in the freezing air...
I curse my failings,
And reach to touch you...
But you have gone.

Reason for writing:

This is about the most beautiful girl I have ever known. And I am relieved I have a way to express my feelings so that I do not smother myself. Perhaps one day I will show this to her, I hope I don't wait too long...
