Southern Sugar

by Athena/Cancer - Not entered

Once when love seemed lost and gone,
And hope seemed just a dream.

I knew the time had come for me
to move from Tennessee.

What was it I was searching for?
Besides the country bliss.
For I cured dispair of city fate,
yet there's something I still miss.

Then there you stood that one fine day.
My city sugar bear.
Skin of golden brown unique
with gorgeous short dark hair.

I loved you then and love you now
and miss you ever so.
For on that day no matter what
I knew our love would grow.
