For those who love, leave nothing to follow. Adore your love, cherish each precious moment. Love your lady; be true, always. This is your sole life, these your only days. For those who love, take time to pursue. Have her, hold her, waste not a day. Keep her near, close to your heart. Whisper "I love you", even when you're apart. For those in love, take it not presumed. Compliment her beauty, the way she makes you smile. Love her each day the same, not to feel rejected. Send her flowers when at times least expected. For those who love, treat her like the princess; she is. Listen to her, know her needs. While she sleeps, feel lucky she's there. Never fail to tell her how much you care. For those who love, consider this. What would you do, without her sweet kiss? How would you feel, if her love was dead? When you roll over at night, in an empty bed. For those who love, let passion run deep. For when she's gone, nightmares fill your sleep. For those who love, let it be known. I know too well, it's a harsh world alone.
Reason for writing:
This poem is disrespectfully dedicated to all those who neglect and take for granted their mate's love. The old saying goes "You don't know what you got till it's gone".. I will not argue the universal truth that "Life's not fair" yet sometimes it can be downright cruel... All the time I see abusive relationships, neglect, lies, deciet go on with no consequences. I will always love my "blood and fire" more than anything yet now she's gone.Birth sign: Not entered
