Drowning

by Jon Skidmore\Aries - Not entered

I took her out into the deep
and threw her overboard
she screamed so loud in total fear
it pierced through me like a sword

She swam until she could no more
then the current pulled her under
and now for the rest of eternity
with the fishes she will wonder

I saw the last bubbles
and then there were no more
They floated to the surface
these bubbles I adore

They mark the end of her last breath
her lungs hurting so bad
no longer would she feel the pain
or agression she once had

The pain and anger of the flesh
hold no value to me
but now in total extreme bliss
her soul will remain free
