Whispers in The Wind

by Emmett Patrick Finnegan/Sag - Not entered

Whispers in The Wind

Melted shadows fade in the dusk

Moonbeams align the soul

Forlorn feelings are lost in the current

Broken days on turbulent emotions

Passing by

Drifting

Life passes through an eclipse of my past

Seasons bring colours and winds of hope

It is, it was, then meets now

Silently the page is turned, the chapter is completed

Thoughts float and dance on lyrical wings

Secrets can be heard in the whispers in the wind

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem one night in my head as I was falling asleep. I got up and grabbed some paper
and wrote it down, the next morning when I woke up there it was.

I don't know what caused me to write it or submit it. I just enjoyed the visual
thoughts of it and I hope you do too. Thanks for reading it!

Cheers,

Emmett Patrick Finnegan
