Untitled

by Jerry Marshall - Libra - Not entered

Dreaming, perceiving,
Wishing, wanting--
Twisting the truth.

I never cared to search for the truth.
My indifference begat sorrow,
For I might have shunned her
Had I not realized that the depth of
Her character was far greater than
I had imagined.

Now I realize the truth.
My perception of it is different now.
I no longer care, I no longer desire.
My indifference begets serenity.

Floating, feeling,
Drifting, loving--
Becoming the truth.
