Lust

by Lyn Hope Tauris - Not entered

Two young people
Sit alone together
Side by side
One is black the other is
white
The times hold them apart
Their lust grows stronger as every
second or to then eternity pass
They know they can not be one
'Society' does not allow this
And they do care what 'society' thinks
In the end 'Society' will always prevail

Reason for writing:

My baest friend is Africain Americain and her parents do not let her date her one true love, a 'white boy.'
