"Judgement"

by Nightmare³ - Not entered

You seem afraid,
I sense your fear.
You cannot hide it,
At least not from a "friend," a peer.

Standing here wondering,
I interpret many thoughts.
I feel as if I'm being used,
As if my friendship you bought.

I realized I changed,
I know I'm not "just like" you.
But faced with such immaturity,
What was I to do?

All you and them do,
You sit back, taunt and tease.
That's just not my style,
To pass time, that's not what I please.

One minute your friendship,
You'd fake, play along, pretend.
As if it's not obvious,
I know what you do, I know what makes a friend.

Now you're faced with a decision,
Right in front of all your friends.
Will you go my way?
Or be tossed around, following everyone's trends?

In my life, your life,
This decision, it could be fatal.
But if you chose as I believe you will,
This moment will just be gossip, another tale.

Either path you chose,
Either path you take, does not matter to me.
I'll always remember the moments we shared,
You'll always be apart of my history.

I know you're afraid,
Afraid to turn them down.
You'll obtain you're so longed for popularity,
But you know, that I'll always be around.

I realize how you've hurt me before,
I know how you've turn on me.
But, I still want you as a friend,
Best friends is what we'll always be.

I'm not sure whether you know,
I don't know if you feel my acceptance.
I'm not sure if you're sure what to do,
But you know, either way, you could give a chance.

I know it'll take some adjusting to,
It's not what you've always done.
But we all change over time,
We find different ways to have fun.

But you know it's your decision, you're choice in life,
I can't influence it anymore than they can.
You as well know, I'm not like them, I decided to be different,
I'm no longer accepted, from their territory, I'm forever ban.
