The light changes in the distance, the cold dark feeling sets in. We don't know where we are going, we've benn lost and forgotten. The society was ours, the future lies with us, or at least that's what they say. We walk the streets with our shadows hanging over, remining us of every moment we spend without anyone around. Our feet ach as they hit the ground. Every step, every leap, reminds us of how we wanted to be.
Reason for writing:
I worked with children with alot of family issues,
and children with no family at all. I tried to put
myself in thier shoes. That is what inspired me to
write this poem.
