Where the River meets the Sea.

by Elijah - Not entered

Upon the open plains.
Where the river meets the sea.
There lives a fine young miss.
Who often thinks of me.

She waits there by the waters.
For my time to return back home.
She gave to me fond memories.
That only we have known.

A day within my life.
I made another bleed.
Now I must wait out time.
Before I can be freed.

But I think of my girl often.
I know she thinks of me.
As she waits there by the waters.
That rush to greet the sea.

Reason for writing:

A time when I did wrong. My strength came from her.
