Like meadow grass caressed, by the misty morning dew, Love, I yearn to awake finding, My arms still enfolding you. Like golden sunlight bathing, Swaying spring flowers in warmth, My heart longs to gently touch, Your love's entreating hearth. Like radiant moonbeams in, The still autumn harvest air, My fingers wish to flow through, The tresses of your long hair. Like waterfalls cascading, Down in a mountain forest, My lips desire to touch yours, Ever softly without rest. So hard it is to capture, The moment when we first met, Love, words can paint such landscapes, Of true wonderment, and yet, Though extraordinary, They are most heartfelt and true, There still are no images, That can serve justice to you.
