Beloved, I Do Love You

by Lawrence J. Henriques, the Snowman - Not entered

Love, I lose all measure of time,
Memories of you on my mind,
Seeing the image of your face,
     The remembrance of your embrace,
I just hope you really do know,
How deeply I do love you so.

A soul unique in all creation,
Fills my heart with sweet elation,
Your gentle heart I shall treasure,
     Gracious kindness beyond measure,
I just hope you really do know,
How deeply I do love you so.

The softness of your touch so tender,
     Enveloping me in splendor,
Wishing that feeling to never end,
Honored am I above all men,
I just hope you really do know,
How deeply I do love you so.

The angels and saints must envy,
Though here, it is heaven you carry,

Like me, from you, they can not part,
Such a joy to know your warm heart,
I just hope you really do know,
How deeply I do love you so.

If you part, I hope it to be,
By one far more greater than me,
     As you ascend into heaven,
     To wear a diamond tiara,
I just hope you really do know,
How deeply I will miss you so.
