The grace and beauty I did see, When my eyes first beheld your form, You became the pillars of my heart, Protecting me against life's storm. So softly spoken from your lips. When my eyes first beheld your smile, With that first word, the gentle wisp, Suspended in time all the while. Your lovely soul emanating, Such kind and so caring ways, Reflections of a radiant heart, Like the sun lighting the days. The grace and beauty I did see, When my eyes first beheld your form, You became the pillars of my heart, Protecting me against life's storm. Sunshine enveloped in crystal, When my eyes first beheld your eyes, I was held captive within the moment Of that first exhale, and soft sighs. Your lovely countenance beaming, Such a wondrously sweet sight, Reflections of a radiant heart, Like the moon lighting the night. The grace and beauty I did see, When my eyes first beheld your form, You became the pillars of my heart, Protecting me against life's storm.
