A touch of love

by Susan Honkowicz - Not entered

The day won't dawn when you're not here
it's scary and the skies won't clear
when I see you, I see the sun
I know that there's no need to run
the rain won't fall the sun stays bright
you are my everlasting light
please don't go because I can't bear
the feeling of loneliness when you're not there
The time will come when you can stay
there will be no games to play
We'll stay close and you can see
the time is right for us to be
