In love again

by Susan Honkowicz - Not entered

I swore to myself
it wouldn't happen again
I vowed to myself
that this was the end
the end of this longing
this yearning so strong
I said I was over you
I guess I was wrong
Now here it is
quite a while later
and my love for you
is even greater
I spend all my time
thinking of you
I'm in love with you again
and there's nothing I can do

Reason for writing:

My ex and I had broken up and he changed schools for a semester. When I finally saw him again, all of those old feelings came rushing back.
