Good Bye

by Susan Honkowicz - Not entered

Tears ran down my face
and onto my lips,
he gently wiped them away
with his fingertips.
I looked up sadly
into his dark eyes,
I tried so hard
but I couldn't muffle my cries.
He held me tight in his embrace
in his chest I buried my face.
Our last embrace ended with one sweet kiss
There was so much about him
I knew I would miss

Reason for writing:

    None given
