Freedom

by Abdelmalek Kemmou - Not entered

Oh, valiant warrior !
You turn things upside down,
More than an earthquake,
Your powers are hard to put at stake.
Then bring happiness,
to the dens of great sadness !

You, best support...
You, that bring hope
To most hopeless souls...

You bring it like ghouls !
Like wind you blow,
and to life add glow...

Oh, freedom !
Your lady stands
     like great ladies do,
With thorns, proper to roses...
When you fall into power,
When your throne, up in the skies,
spreads cloudy darkness on the universe...

Oh, freedom !
Your sword has two blades.
Your support is illusive.
Your shiny glory travels
from treason to betrayal...
How could I be so stupid
to buy your offering
of false hopes...
