From the night your face rose,
filled my heart with love.
From the ocean far away,
once,
you came like light.
Like the moon reflecting the sun,
in my mind you appeared,
took control of my soul.
In my heart you were born,
and you made it your kingdom.
To my life,
you brought joy and happiness.
But with darkness, at dawn, you went away,
taking my heart, my mind and my soul ...
Reason for writing:
this is one of my very first texts. I wrote it in
December 1988. It was meant for Sherie, or maybe for
an image of her which never existed but in my heart.
